Honda Hybrid Expansion

Honda has just announced that they will be introducing and expanding their Hybrid selection in the United State. This new expansion includes plans to implement the new Earth Dreams™ Technology powertrains and also a new two motor technology. The plans are on a three to four year plan that will show Honda’s continued effort to provide customers with a economical and environmentally friendly option, and show their continued commitment to staying green.

The two engine technology will go towards furthering the Honda Insight and Accord models. “The two-motor system was introduced on the 2014 Accord Plug-In Hybrid and powers the EPA-rated 50 mpg city Accord Hybrid, which is the most fuel-efficient rating for a 5-passenger sedan in America.” (Honda Media) The insight will be the newest model offering this technology and Honda believes it will be the most cost affective hybrid ever with its MSRP starting at $18,725.

Who would have guessed…. More snow.

With the weather being a pain in the you know what I thought I would direct this post at safety and winter weather driving. Since we are located in the heart of Iowa we can expect a hardy amount of snow to come our way every winter. The bad weather can challenge your driving skills as well as your patience but its important to remember there is no reason to be in a hurry in weather like this….

Some other important tips to remember are make sure you keep your tire pressure at the recommended level, keep warm clothes in the trunk incase of getting stranded in the cold, clear off your wind shield and windows completely so you can see normally, and in icy conditions do not keep cruise control on because your traction control does not always sense when the tires are slipping. Here are some websites that include some more helpful information to stay safe and moving on the road.

‘Tis the Season

I hope everyone has got their holiday shopping all taken care of and for the ones who haven’t you are the definition of the last minute shopper, which I am guilty of being. Shopping can be a headache this time of the year and for most people like me instead of ‘Holiday Road Rage‘ I get ‘Shopping Rage.’ Okay, not to this extreme but black friday is a whole other animal. Instead of getting cut off on the interstate you are getting cut off at the register. There is another way.

To avoid this nonsense you could just to the sensible thing. You might ask ‘what is the sensible thing to do Jordan?’ I am glad you asked. I am just going to be straight forward with you. Come to Marshalltown and visit me. You can meet meet some awesome individuals and find a great gift. (the best gift for yourself or other)

Ken Wise is here to serve you. We have plenty of Used and New Honda, GMC and Buicks in stock. If you don’t believe me look for yourself  *Ken Wise*. A gift from us would totally redeem you from last years fluke of buying your wife new floor mats for her run down Cadillac. And plus just think you will also be able to drive it yourself! (if your significant other is not a car nazi).

I am about to take a deep breath here because I am about rattle off some obvious reasons you should buy a Honda, GMC or Buick and the list is extensive…… Actually no need to. Here are some creditable websites for you to check out.

Ken Wise is a Refreshing Dealer Experience

Let me start off this blog by saying my name is Jordan Julson and I am the internet manager at Ken Wise Buick GMC Honda. I am doing this blog to one, build awareness and two, to share an experience as a new comer to the online blogosphere and also a new comer to the car industry.

I have not been around the car industry for a long time so I definitely do not carry the merit of an experienced vet of the business. Ken Wise definitely has a few of those, and one that comes straight to mind is the wily ol vet John Ramsey. John has been in the business for more than 32 years and this man is a pro, in the best way possible. John will go over and beyond to serve you and he will put a smile on your face while he provides all of the information for you.

That was a slight tangent but anyway Ken Wise is something different. It is not a large, its all about the numbers type of dealership. Ken Wise is the guy that puts his jacket over the puddle for the lady, Ken Wise is the friend that hugs you when you get dumped, Ken Wise is Ivan (check it out).

I will be posting once a week so leave a comment and either bash, encourage or do nothing. up to you.

Have a great weekend.
